VetBond Tissue Adhesive - 3M
Regular price $37.20 Sale price $31.57 Save $5.63by: 3M
Vetbond adhesive changes from a liquid to a solid state within seconds of making contact with body tissue.
Recommended for dewclaw removals, minor lacerations, abrasions, suture/staple line sealing, tooth extractions, and oral surgeries.
Vetbond also acts as a barrier to keep foreign matter from entering the wound.
Each 3 ml bottle contains approximately 150 drops.
Vetbond Tissue Adhesive is used to quickly and conveniently close minor wounds. Vetbond often eliminates the need for sutures or bandages. Creates a strong bond that polymerizes in seconds. Binds wound edges together to promote natural healing. Vetbond Tissue Adhesive is blue, making application easier to see.
IngredientsVetbond Tissue Adhesive contains:
N-butyl cyanoacrylate (>98% by weight),
Hydroquinone (<1 % by weight),
blue dye (.01% by weight).
Vetbond Tissue Adhesive must be at room temperature before use. Do not heat.
To open:
Remove bottle cap and cut off bottle tip, and place flexible applicator tip on the bottle.
Vetbond adhesive may be used between stainless steel staples, but the application of adhesive on staples may interfere with staple removal.
When finished:
Remove excess adhesive in vial tip by holding bottle upright and gently squeeze a single drop of adhesive out of tip onto a paper towel.
Wipe bottle tip with the same paper towel.
Replace the bottle cap.
Expel adhesive from applicator tip by pushing air through it from a standard syringe.
After opening, do not return the bottle to the refrigerator.
CautionsAvoid contact with skin and eyes. If in eyes, hold eyelids open and flush thoroughly with water. An ophthalmologist should be consulted.
Do not use:
If adhesive appears thicker than water at room temperature. The thickened product has partially polymerized and will not form an acceptable bond.
Maxi Guard Zn7 Derm Itch Relief Spray 2 oz
Regular price $18.11 Save $-18.11By: Addison Labs
MAXI/GUARD Zn7Derm - The industrys most recognized neutralized zinc based skin care topicals. This counter-irritant provides soothing relief from itching and drying of raw skin conditions.
How Does it Work?
To answer this question, we must ask how calamine lotion, the medical industrys most popular anti-pruritic, reduces itching. Calamine lotion, used since antiquity (Egyptian development), is zinc-based. Centuries ago, natural mineral deposits containing zinc carbonate were used for the zinc source. Today, a variety of zinc salts (zinc acetate, etc.) are used to manufacture calamine lotion. The zinc in calamine lotion offers modest bioavailability. The zinc in Zn7 Derm, complexed with L-lysine and taurine, is not only stabilized at a neutral pH (the zone of intracellular 6.8 7.2pH) but is carried across cell membranes at much higher levels to deliver greater anti-pruritic benefits deep within the skin.
Usage
Zn7 Derm is applied during:
