DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Do not apply directly over cuts, wounds, or irritated skin, apply only to areas around the cut, wound, or irritation. Use daily. Do not use on animals under 12 weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or medicated animals. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Do not use on horses or foals intended for slaughter. Do not apply near eyes and mouth. Apply sparingly around ears. Wash hands with soap and water promptly after use.

Aspirin Powder Apple-Flavored

Proudsoff Proud Flesh Ointment

When a horse gets injured or cut, granulation tissue (pebbly or granular looking tissue) forms to help the wound in the healing process. This is part of the normal healing process. However, sometimes, granulation tissue can take on a mind of its own and continue to grow, protruding past the skin in excess. This excessive granulation tissue is known as Proud Flesh and can inhibit skin growth over the wound.

ProudOff Proud Flesh Ointment can help control and remove this proud flesh, aiding in the healing process and allowing skin cells to grow over the wound.

DIRECTIONS

For use on horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. Not intended for use in household pets.

Cover entire area affected by proud flesh with a thin coating of Proudoff once daily. Dead tissue and debris from previous use must be removed before each application. This can be done with cotton or soft gauze. Do not wash the lesion. Discontinue use when all proud flesh has been removed. Do not use on wounds that do not contain proud flesh.

DIRECTIONS

Shake well before using. Cleanse area to be treated, let dry. Try a small amount at first to see how animal reacts. Then, apply to all affected areas. Repeat every 3 days until desired results. Do not wash off until reapplication is needed. May be thinned with baby oil if necessary to retain lotion-like consistency.

To prevent eye contamination, wear protective rubber gloves when applying this product or wash hands thoroughly after applying.

For Treatment of Ear Problems

Apply down into the ear as far as possible once every 3 days.

WARNING

Topical use only. Consumption of this medication may cause nausea and vomiting in animals. (Due to its bitter taste, most animals will not lick this product. However, to prevent them from licking, use a bandage, muzzle, old t-shirt, E-collar, etc.) Prolonged or frequent use may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. If signs of sensitivity occur after using any topical medication, bathe animal with mild soap and rinse with large amount of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Use sparingly on pets under 12 weeks of age.
